PRRI regularly organises meetings to introduce public researchers to regulations and international agreements about modern biotechnology, such as the Cartagena Protocol on Biosafety (CPB) and the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD), to seek their input on the topics on the agenda. These meetings are, to the extent possible, organised in conjunction with existing meetings organised by other international organisations. PRRI invites Government officials to attend these meetings to have informal exchange of views.
